- 2009 NON and Penn Relays mile champ
Chelsey Sveinsson, Greenhill junior,
showed she's quickly getting close to top fitness with a meet record
US#1 4:45.24 to defeat an elite 1600 field in the only girls event
of the otherwise all-boys meet. Foot Locker and NXN Finalist
Rachel Johnson of Plano was 2nd at 4:59.93

Prezel Hardy dashed a 10.45 100 (nwi) and
paced his Killeen Ellison relay teams to
US#1 and meet record 40.66 4x100 and US#2 1:26.34 in the 5A meet.
DeSoto had strong (but distant) runner-up finishes in both
races at US#4 41.37 and 1:28.00

Clinton Collins ran a US#1 47.30 in the 5A 400
- Plano sr Sirron Warren US#4 and
meet record 1:52.40 in the 5A 800

record 48-07.50 TJ (US#2 all-cond.) and 23-11.75 LJ (both nwi) in 4A
- Lancaster sr Tyler Stephenson
picked up a 13.79 110H (nwi) / 38.63 300H double in 5A, edging
DeSoto jr Ken Minkah both times (13.91/38.94).
Stephenson's teammate Kendall Hayes (NIN 60H
champ), however, was a non-qualifier to the 110H final and just 6th
in the 300H final
